Cask Ownership Risk Warning

Whisky casks are specialist, illiquid assets. Their value can rise or fall and may be affected by provenance, quality, age, alcoholic strength, remaining volume, market demand, contractual rights, storage costs, duties and selling expenses. Returns are not guaranteed, and a buyer may be unable to sell at the preferred time or price.

Whisky-cask investments are generally unregulated in the United Kingdom. Clients may not benefit from protections that apply to regulated investments. Capital is at risk. Independent financial, legal and tax advice should be considered before acquiring any cask.

Alcohol Licensing

Online bottle sales identify the licensed seller and merchant of record. Age verification, licensed premises, personal-licence oversight, delivery controls and wholesale approvals reflect the actual transaction and jurisdiction. WCG does not activate live checkout until all required licences, age-verification procedures and fulfilment responsibilities are confirmed and in place.

The origin of whisky does not automatically confer the right to use a distillery name, trademark or visual identity. All public descriptions and labels follow contractual permissions and applicable Scotch Whisky Regulations. Where naming rights are not available, products are positioned through lawful regional, style-led or independent brand identities.
